The Armenian and Assyrian genocides took place more than 100 years ago, but the ripple effects of these horrific events continue to affect the lives of local residents today.
Join The Innovation Network at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, April 26 to remember the lives lost and listen to two current Brookdale students reflect on how these events shaped their families and continue to touch their lives today.
Center for Holocaust, Human Rights and Genocide Education Executive Director Sara Brown will offer a historical overview about the genocides. Join TIN as the club recognizes the importance of education and remembering.
The free and open to the public “Forget Me Not” program will begin at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, in the butterfly garden, on the lower level of the Student Life Center patio.
