A Letter from Dr. Stout An Update

Dr David Stout, President Brookdale Community College

Colleagues and students,

We continue to monitor developments regarding the COVID-19 spread in New Jersey and Monmouth County. We remain in frequent contact wit the New Jersey Department of Health and the Monmouth County Department of Health, among others, regarding their recommendations and guidance during this evolving situation. There are currently no confirmed or suspected cases at Brookdale. At this time, College operations and hours remain unchanged but we are developing contingency plans if the situation warrants a change in our operations.

As spring break approaches, Brookdale will communicate with students and employees via college email at least every 48 hours (unless the need arises for more frequent communications) through Saturday, March 21. On or before Sunday, March 22, we will send a broadcast text message to all students and employees regarding the status of the College’s operations for the week of March 23. We urge all members of the Brookdale Community to continue practicing preventive measures We also ask that you regularly access your Brookdale email, check for broadcast text messages and/or visit the college website for important information updates during this time period.

Our students and employees health and safety remains paramount in our decisions. Please be safe and follow the guidelines issued and regularly updated by the New Jersey Department of Health and the Monmouth County Department of Health.

David Stout, Ph.D.

President

Brookdale Community College
