Information and Resources From Student Affairs

Dr. Yesenia Madas, Associate Vice President Student Affairs

Dear Students,

We know that this is an uncertain time for all of us. You are not alone, we are here to support you! I will be hosting a virtual meeting later this week to give you an opportunity to share any concerns you have or ask any questions. In the meantime, we have set up a student FAQ page which we will continue to update. We encourage you to visit this page often for updates. Please note: Any phone number listed below is being monitored remotely by employees as campus buildings are restricted per Governor Murphy’s executive orders.

As spring break comes to an end, you likely have immediate questions about your classes.

Please see below for class information and support:

Your Professors will advise you via CANVAS or your Brookdale email no later than Wednesday, March 25 about current plans to complete the semester.

In this course, you will find resources and information about academic support from areas like The Brookdale Math Lab, The Learning Commons, and Librarians. Visit Canvas for more information. You may also get tutoring online by clicking here.

What about my tests? Please contact your faculty member about testing options. Some faculty may offer testing with webcam proctoring via Respondus Monitor.
What if I don’t have access to the internet or a device to access online materials? An important survey was sent to you yesterday evening related to online access and learning. If you did not already respond, please respond by midnight tonight, so that we can connect with you if you do need assistance. The survey was sent via text and email.

We also recognize that you may need the assistance of our student services departments or others in the community.
