The Miami Dolphins demolished the Denver Broncos with a franchise record of 70 points. Joe Burrow, and the Cincinnati Bengals contributing as a team, won the game by a field goal, and Patrick Mahomes showed mercy against the Chicago Bears with a surprising guest in the stands.
As of Week 3, there are three remaining teams who are undefeated: the Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles and San Fransico 49ers. It may look good to be undefeated for now, but remember the NFL is anybody’s game. So, the question is: Will these teams give up easily or keep fighting the battle on the field?
Anyway, here is your weekly dose of NFL news.
Top 3 Performances in Week 3
In the last 20 years, the Miami Dolphins have been in short supply of relevance in the league. But this week’s performance proved they can be fierce on the field. The Dolphins led a major upset against the Denver Broncos, 70-20. This scoreboard is the second highest in NFL history and sets a new franchise record for the Dolphins. With 726 yards and an impressive 10 touchdowns from the team, these statistics left fans in shock. All I can said is this game will forever be in the books.
Did the Washington Commanders give up that easily to lose on their winning streak? The Buffalo Bills came to Washington and gave them a huge spanking with 37 points mostly thanks to their defense. Washington’s performances are going to be their worst for the season. Sam Howell threw 4 interceptions for 170 yards throughout the game. (I hope this will not end Howell’s career, but by the looks of it, it might.)
The Swifites, or commonly known as Taylor Swift’s fan base were excited when she was seen in the crowd cheering for her new boyfriend, Travis Kelce. Who does not love a beautiful friendship between two partners? Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce will always be the dynamic duo in the Chief’s Kingdom. Mahomes threw 300 yards, and 3 passing touchdowns, and Kelce ran 62 yards with 7 receptions and one touchdown.
