As we enter the holiday season, it is important to remember that this is not the happiest time of the year for everyone. Final exams, holiday stress and a variety of other issues can make this a very challenging time.
For those facing what may seem unendurable sadness and hopelessness, please remember there is help, and suicide is never the answer. It is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
But sometimes people feel like they have no other choice as they face family problems, work issues and/or depression. In life, there are many roads we can take. It’s easy to get blindsided and think the only way is the dead end.
When we get wrapped up in all the issues and get tunnel vision, we fail to see the roads we never thought about taking. There is always a solution, and there is always help. All it takes sometimes is to reach out.
