On Tuesday, April 9, the International Student Association held its annual festival, a multicultural celebration, featuring ethnic food, dance and music, arts and crafts, and cultural booths. Brookdale clubs, organizations, and individual students participated in the festival representing their unique international and cultural significance.
This year’s festival featured Rising Sun Capoeira with Kasey Sanders and Friends. The group will performed and facilitated a capoeira workshop, which involved the movements, music, and magic of the art.
“This event brings the whole campus together to celebrate international students,” said Lucyna Wadych-Ketley, 54, from Lincroft, assistant director of the International Education Center.
The festival was sponsored by International Student Association, Student Life and Activities, the International Education Center and Diversity and Inclusion.
