“From the vibrant streets of Dublin to the rugged coasts of Donegal and the historic walls of Derry, Ireland beckons with tales of ancient Celtic legends and modern heroes of civil rights and social justice.”
This is the Ireland English Professors Roseanne Alvarez and Elana Maloney want to explore with students during a study-abroad experience alated for May 18 to May 28, 2025.
This short-term study abroad trip will allow students to complete general education requirements while immersing them in the history, culture and creativity of Ireland.
Tour highlights include Donegal Town, Cavan Burren Geopark, Donegal Castle and Abbey, Ballyshannon Holy Well and Famine Workhouse, Arranmore Island, Sligo City and Gleniff Horseshoe, Derry City and the University of Ulster.
