The Wellness Center is hosting a Coming Out Stories event, with special guest, Assemblywoman LuAnne Peterpaul, 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9. This event leads up to coming out day, Oct. 11.
Brookdale staff and Peterpaul will be sharing their coming out stories, highlighting the complexity behind coming out, and the many ups and downs that come with it. It is also a time to hold space for those who have had difficulties coming out or have not been able to come out for various reasons.
We are coming together to honor these experiences as a community.
