you want after all. Being a college student comes with serious perks, such as student discounts! 

All you need to do is whip out your student ID at certain places, and you’ll be golden. Just be sure you check with local places first to make sure they offer student discounts and keep in mind that sometimes restrictions may apply. Here are 25 discounts you may want to take advantage of: 

Retail Stores 

  1. Adidas offers a 15 percent discount plus free shipping to students who verify their status 

through UNiDAYS, myunidays.com. 

  1. Aeropostale offers a 15 percent online discount to U.S. students who are registered to 

UNiDAYS.

  1. Alex and Ani offers a 15 percent discount on select accessories at Alex and Ani when students verify using SheerID, sheerid.com. 
  2. American Eagle offers a 20 percent discount to students for online and in-store purchases as 

long as they verify through UNiDAYS. 

  1. Apple offers an 8 percent discount.  
  2. Banana Republic offers a 15 percent discount on full-priced purchases. 
  3. Champion offers a 10 percent discount to students who can verify their status through ID.me.
  4. Charlotte Russe offers a 10 percent discount. 
  5. J.Crew offers college students with valid ID a 15 percent discount at participating J.Crew, 

J.Crew Factory and J.Crew Mercantile stores. (Not available for online and phone orders.) 

  1. Journeys-offers a $10 discount on orders of $50 or more to students who can verify their 

status through UNiDAYS. 

  1. Vera Bradley offers a 15 percent online discount to students when they sign in and verify their eligibility using ID.me 
  2. Vineyard Vines offers students with valid ID a 15 percent in-store discount at participating

Services and Subscriptions 

  1. AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile-offer a discount for students who have an eligible university 

email address. 

  1. Amazon offers students who use their student email six months of free Amazon Prime and 

free two-day shipping on textbooks and other college necessities. 

  1. The New York Times offers a subscription price of $1/week for basic access and $1.50/week for all-access to students. 
  2. Spotify offers students 50 percent off a Spotify Premium subscription to students at accredited

Restaurants 

  1. Arby’s offers a 10 percent discount to students with valid ID 
  2. Buffalo Wild Wings offers college students from select universities a free shareable 

meal for every $5 minimum purchase at Buffalo Wild Wings. 

  1. Burger King offers a 10 percent discount at certain locations. 
  2. Chick-fil-A offers a free drink at most locations to students who show their student IDs. 
  3. Chipotle offers discounts to students with valid ID. 
  4. Dairy Queen-offers a 10 percent discount to students with valid ID at various locations 
  5. Domino’s Pizza often offers a discount, but it varies by location. 
  6. McDonald’s offers a student discount that varies by location. 
  7. Subway offers a 10 percent student discount at various locations.
