Despite the pandemic, the Asia Society continues to meet regularly at 11:45 a.m. Tuesdays via Zoom.
The club aims to be a place where students share their interest in Asian cultures and learn from one another as well as build relationships and support one another through their academic journey at Brookdale.
On Feb. 23, the club will be joined by author Kathy Chin Leong, author of “San Francisco’s Chinatown.” An award-winning journalist who has been published in the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times, Leong conducted more than 100 interviews to write about the largest Chinatown outside of Asia. The event is open to all students.
