Becky Bite’s (Food Column): Must try Texas Roadhouse
First, let’s starts with service. Our server was Susie, and she was attentive, coming by every 15 minutes. She made sure we had everything we needed. She also would bring us water when our glasses were half empty.
My favorite part is all you can eat bread! It has a butter squash texture with a brown butter sugar spread. It was so good and delicious.
Also, the best part of all time is the free peanuts that you crack yourself. It was so good, and you can put the shells in a bucket.
Now that we know the service is good, let’s talk about the decor. It was very elegant and delightful, rustic and countrified. This was set against country music playing all the time. The decor brings you all the way back to the Wild West, which means big BBQ. That is how Texas goes.
Everyone to know the prices. So let’s talk about the prices. Now, there are a bunch of different steak options. They range from ribeye, Dallas filet and etc. They range from $12 to $24, which includes two sides and a drink.
Let’s talk about the flavors. I love my steak very pink in the middle. Once you take that bite. Your mouth is full of melting butter. Then a dangy onion flavor is coming through. You then go in for a forkful of a mushroom. The sweet brown sugar taste takes you to a horse farm. I love potatoes. So I got double carb. So I got french fries peppered and salted to perfection. Then famous mashed potatoes that were so creamy and buttery.
Overall it was a great experience. It was a great date night. Because it is a more expensive purchase. However it is romantic, and the restaurant is so friendly. It is a great food place.
