Brookdale’s Helping Hands food pantry and lounge located in MAN 214 has announced its fall drop-by hours. The lounge will be open from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Mondays, 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays, and 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursdays.
According to the college website, Helping Hands provides grab-and-go snacks for students on campus, along with additional food, toiletries, and new clothing items for students and their families. Helping Hands also works to connect students with a variety of social services, which include: housing, mental health, and childcare services.
Additionally, the Fulfill Mobile Food Pantry holds monthly food distribution programs on campus throughout the year. The Fulfill pantry will be open 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 16, and Dec. 21 in Parking Lot 3. All are welcome.
