The highly anticipated, Bamboozle music festival is returning to New Jersey this summer. It’s taking place at Bader Field in Atlantic City from Friday, May 5. to Sunday, May 7, to celebrate 20 years since its initial inception.

The weekend-long festival that celebrates emo, rock, metal, EDM, hip-hop and pop will feature more than 70 acts. These include Limp Bizkit, Motionless In White, Papa Roach, Blackbear, Mayday Parade, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Trippie Redd, and Joey Bada$$. It is a mixed music festival, which will bring a lot of people to it, especially the younger generation.

New Jersey’s finest, E-Town Concrete will also be making an appearance on May 7. People attending can also look forward to special performances from the band Attila, who will be celebrating 10 years of the album “About That Life,” and the band Saves The Day, who will be celebrating 20 years of “In Reverie.”

In addition to live performances, the three-day festival will also feature a midway with four amusement rides, the B-Boy Dance Competition (with a $25k prize), winners of “The Break Contest” local band competition, Game Changer Wrestling, art installations, fan activations, merchandise, food vendors, DJ’s, clowns, a poet and more.

“This is a party – 20 years in the making!” said CEO John D’Esposito on the Bamboozle website. After the most recent Bamboozle Festival was supposed to happen in 2021 but got cancelled because of Covid-19. This festival hasn’t happened in 11 years, but had a historic run from 2003 to 2012.

D’Esposito also stated on the website, “Bamboozle headlines this years festival. The festival will not have high-priced headliners, as we brought it back to how it started. It starts with a scene.”

During the decade-long run, Bamboozle was the largest selling festival in New Jersey with more than 600 acts and roughly 500,000 fans in attendance over the years. Bamboozle was claimed to jumpstart the careers of many bands on the bill this summer. They look to continue that historic run this summer.

Single-day tickets are $120, and three-day tickets are $315. Hotel prices may vary depending on which one you go to. However, there are ticket and hotel bundles available to purchase.
