Thanksgiving is notoriously a hectic affair full of family and food. Although the holiday is associated with Pilgrims, tomorrow, Nov 20, old and new collide as the Brookdale esports arena hosts its Thanksgiving event.

Since Thanksgiving is about community, it’s only fitting that the this event be focused on team-based games that help foster camaraderie.

Overcooked and its sequel (the fittingly named Overcooked 2) are chaotic cooperative games where players team up to cook dishes in ever more chaotic locales, Sea of Thieves allows players to raise a flag together a band of swashbucklers, and many more.

The event will also feature a food drive that feeds into the Brookdale communal food drive, so there’s more to this than just fun and games.

The event will be hosted in the Brookdale esports Arena in the Student Life building, and will be live streamed at twitch.tv/brookdale_esports starting at 4 p.m. tomorrow.
